This 2015 special Wild White Peony Tea (Bai Mu Dan) is harvested from the growing trees in the untamed hillsides in China Fujian's Fuding area. Peony tea, or Bai Mu Dan, is a grade of white tea made from plucks, each with one leaf shoot and two young leaves.
The tea has developed a full-body texture with a plum, fruity, and nutty taste, thanks to its isolation from the human intervention for hundreds of years. And after being aged for seven years, the teacake has emerged a sweet and bright aroma.
It was processed with the legacy white-tea making process, including the sun-withering and air-dry. And because there is no fixation and rolling, the leaves' active enzymes and polyphenols are well preserved.
"One-year white tea is a tea, three years becomes a medicine, and ten years turns out an antique treasure!", white tea has gained extraordinary popularity in the past decade because of its rich nutrients, delightful taste, and refreshing aroma.
This unique Wild Bai Mu Dan is ideal for enjoying after its seven-years of development in aroma and taste. And it's suitable for collection for its delicacy to continue to build and emerge.
Our Yizisun Special Wild tea series is drinkable and collectible!
